Socials Skills: Executive Functioning
Does your child struggle with planning, organization, or time management? These are executive functioning skills—critical for academic success. Students with suspected or diagnosed learning disabilities often find these skills challenging, which can lead to stress, missed deadlines, and frustration.
Our 9-week Executive Functioning program is designed to help middle school and high school students build practical strategies that improve focus, reduce overwhelm, and boost confidence in learning.
Why Choose Our Program?
- Expert Support – Led by an experienced learning strategist in a small, in-person group setting
- Personalized Approach – Students set goals and learn strategies tailored to their needs
- Proven Techniques – Based on evidence-based methods for executive functioning and academic success
Skills Students Will Develop
- Planning and prioritization for homework and projects
- Organizing workspaces to minimize distractions
- Breaking tasks into manageable steps (chunking)
- Effective study strategies for tests
- Motivation and self-monitoring skills
By the end of the program, students will have a toolkit of executive functioning strategies to manage schoolwork independently—skills that last far beyond the classroom.
