FREE October Workshop:

Game-Bling: When Gaming Meets Gambling

Join us on October 9th for the Parent Session & October 23rd for the Student Session from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for a workshop that delves into micro-transactions in virtual worlds and gambling-like features in video games, such as loot boxes and player pack unlocking. We will analyze the impact of excessive technology use on well-being, identify signs of problem gaming and gambling, and explore the potential risks associated with these activities. Hosted by Mackenzie Dahms, Youth Outreach Worker with the YMCA of HBB.

In collaboration with YWCA Hamilton, we are hosting a series of workshops – both Virtual and in-person!
