Paige Vaccarella

Paige Vaccarella

(she/her)

Hello everyone! My name is Paige. I am honoured to say I am one of the Y2Y ambassadors for Centre for Diverse Learners. I was diagnosed with a learning disability in the 4th grade, and I am currently a 4th-year university student. I have learned a lot throughout my journey.

I am very passionate about sharing my story, the good and the bad, in hopes of inspiring and supporting other individuals with an LD. I hope to encourage others to believe that is not only okay to be different, but being different can also be your gift. I want others to believe that you can accomplish anything you put your mind to with hard work, dedication, and the right support.

Evan Hayward

Evan Hayward

(he/him)

Hi I’m Evan Archibald Hayward! I have a learning disability in written expression. I’ve gone through physical, occupational, and speech therapy, and so I know a lot about the different challenges and experiences people with LD’s face. I’m here to support you no matter who you are because everyone is different and unique in their own way.

Katelyn Weinstein

Katelyn Weinstein

(she/her)

Hey! My name is Katelyn (She/Her) and I have faced ADHD for as long as I can remember. It has impacted me in so many ways, both positive and negative, visible and invisible. ADHD, like many disabilities, seriously impacts my well-being, but if I’ve learned anything, it’s that I am not alone.

I chose to be an ambassador because I believe vulnerability is advocacy, and that by sharing my experiences, I can uplift others and help build a supportive, inclusive community for people of all abilities.

My goal is to offer an environment filled with a web of learning pathways to allow for the growth and development through the organization. I hope to bring understanding that their greatest achievement will come from their ability to leave behind a legacy filled with opportunity.
